Skill Gem Setup for the Boneshatter Titan
The Boneshatter gem is the core of the build. It scales beautifully through the campaign and remains endgame-viable due to its synergy with Slam mechanics and Path of Exile 2 Currency Stun scaling. Properly supported, it provides excellent AoE clear, boss damage, and a satisfying rhythm of risk and reward.
Early Game Setup
Your early goal is to clear packs quickly and build up stun potential:
Boneshatter - Magnified Area - Impact Shockwave - Close Combat
Infernal Cry - Premeditation - Enraged Warcry
Leap Slam - Rapid Attacks - Brink
Herald of Ash - Cannibalism
Shockwave Totem - Overabundance - Urgent Totems
How it works:
Leap Slam helps you close gaps and generate stuns, while Boneshatter detonates packs with massive shockwaves. Pairing Infernal Cry with Herald of Ash ensures enemies combust upon death-creating a chain reaction of explosions. The Shockwave Totem is helpful early on for extra crowd control, but can be phased out once your damage ramps up in Act 3-4.
Mid to Late Game Setup
As you move into maps and endgame Echoes, you'll unlock heavier-hitting Slam skills to round out your kit:
Forge Hammer - Cooldown Recovery - Fire Attunement - Elemental Armament
Earthshatter - Aftershock - Reverberate - Upheaval
Hammer of the Gods - Fist of War - Rageforged - Close Combat - Heavy Swing
Seismic Cry - Dazing Cry - Raging Cry
In this stage, your build truly comes alive. Earthshatter and Seismic Cry build stun pressure, while Hammer of cheap POE2 Currency the Gods delivers massive bursts once Glory stacks are full. The gameplay loop is simple: build stuns → unleash Boneshatter shockwaves → finish with Hammer of the Gods for devastating boss damage.
